I didn't really know what to write today

So, I'll be honest I just didn’t know what to write today but I told myself and all of you that I will write a blog post every Thursday so here I am. I sat down and just started writing and I tell a lot of my clients that's often the best way to do things.

I want to get fit ok start exercising, I want to lose weight ok start expending more calories than you consume, I want to gain weight ok start consuming more calories than you expend. A lot of people have great intentions to do things and they start and then when it gets hard, or they can't be bothered one day they just stop. Then that turns into another day, then another and another (you see where I'm going with this).

Forming new habits is hard and takes time which like I said earlier we have great intentions to keep these habits but when life gets in the way we abandon these new habits. You need to just start, literally that's it set yourself a target and make a conscious effort to at least start your new habit. I once heard of someone who was a mega hater, so their trainer literally got them to go in the gym and their desired time and do 1 set of 1 exercise, that's it. Nothing else just go in and spent less than 1 minute exercising basically. Next session 2 sets, then 3 (again you see where I'm going with this). Eventually this person became a frequent 45 minute 4 times a week gym goer.

First step to making change is just turning up. From there you will start to develop and get better. Right now, I am at the beginning of all my social media acts - Insta, Facebook, Blogs and I can be honest I'm not great but I am already getting better, every post I am seeing improvement and that is how you build solid foundations and begin to make improvements.

If you're ready to take your first step and start forming a new habit with your fitness and or nutrition (or even want someone to keep you accountable on another habit) contact me to take your first step https://www.310fitness.co.uk/contact

Also, I would just like to say I think this blog post is pretty banging. I literally just made this up as I was writing and had no idea what I was going to write today. Now imagine if you will. If I am this good when I am making stuff up on the spot on a skill, I am still developing then imagine how good I will be at training you when I have time to plan your session and I have been training people for 10 years.

Until next time
