I'm on holiday

So I've come on holiday this week #staycation. Weather has held up and we're by the sea, no complaints from me. So far, I have spent my days laying on the beach and in the sea. Absolute loving life right now. Eating far to many calories and having no regrets.

Despite being on holiday I'm still here writing this post. Why? Because I love my job. Now that sounds like a cliche I know but I really do, hopefully by now you've realised I'm not here to bullshit you and tell you one thing whilst thinking another. My job isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, there are a few things I don't particularly like but what job doesn’t have it downs. On the whole I would say I love 99% of my job. Hence why it's 11pm on my holiday week and here I am writing my weekly blog post.

I could spend all my time taking in the rays, sleeping, and eating but I set aside some time every day to focus on my work (Don’t get me wrong there has been a lot of this). Whilst being off I have still checked in with my coaches to make sure things are running smoothly, spoke with some clients, organised a few sessions and done some learning to better my product and give you the best possible services I can provide.

The reason I love my job so much is because I am more than just a PT. Most personal trainers you see just focus on sets and reps, which is a large part of the job yes. However, that’s not me, I don't feel I can justify the cost of my service to just stand there and say 'yep, looking good, squeeze the bicep, slow it down. One more set to go great work. When you sign me as your PT, I actually want you to succeed and eventually not need my services anymore. Which even as I write this, I know sounds stupid coming from a PT. I don't want to keep you forever and have you pay me for months and years.

I want to teach you what your body is doing, how to fuel it correctly for life and how to structure your workouts. I won't stick you on a fad diet or cut your calories by 70%, I won't stick you on the latest piece of trendy equipment which doesn’t do much except dent your bank account and I won't just have you jump around your living room following the latest celeb workout.

I will sit down with you and figure out a realistic workout strategy to fit in with your life, help you understand your diet and help you understand that no food is actually bad. Then we can work to eliminate barriers which prevent your success and help you achieve your fitness goals.

So my last question is. When do you want to start? Sign up now for your consultation session and join my site + email list.
