It's ok to have a lazy day

So today I spent the whole day playing Playstation. I had a very hectic weekend, lots of coaching, I had a wedding and I was coaching at a regatta. So when I woke up on Monday I felt stiff, sore and deflated, I didn't feel like getting up and doing my training and I had no clients booked in for the day. So enter the Playstation, I've not played in months and just cracked out UFC 4 and Fifa all day.

Now when you meet me you will hear me say I hate being lazy and I have to be doing something. I'm always working, training, reading or studying I never really stop, which for me is great, it just works. However some days we dont't feel like doing our normal routine or like me you've had a heavy weekend. Guess what? That's fine. Now if you browse instagram or Facebook you will see people constantly on the ball and telling you how they work 20 hours a day sleep 4 and get right back on it. Yep, sure great for you. Most of this people will be talking shit. Don't get me wrong some people are switched on all the time and never stop but what I am trying to say is don't compare yourself to them. Don't chase the online life you see as s long of the time people only post their best selves not their actual lives.

Now my Playsation day, for me that was a lazy day and it's fine I' open about it. As long as it doesnt become my everyday what is the problem? Please tell me. Nothing! I gave myself a day off to reset myself unwind and then the next day I was back on it 100%. I had more focus with my coaching and studying and life felt rebalanced.

So moral of the story here is. It's ok to have an off day. Just don't let it build into a 2 day then a 3 day and so on sort of thing. We all have crazy lives in some form so let yourself reset every now and then.
